Why Breathe Between Worlds?

There is wisdom older than words.

A wisdom that lives in the body before the mind can explain it.

So many of us move through life overthinking, bracing, performing, and looking outside ourselves for answers.

This retreat is an invitation to return to your own inner authority.

Through water therapy and ecstatic dance, you’ll be guided into two powerful forms of embodied listening: water to soften, surrender, and uncover what your body has been holding, and dance to move, express, and choose how you meet what rises.

At the heart of this experience is sovereignty: the remembrance that healing is not something being done to you. It is something you choose to participate in.

The practices open the door.
Your body offers the wisdom.
You choose how to listen.

Are you ready?

  • What is Water Therapy?

Water therapy is a deeply relaxing, body-based experience where you are gently held, floated, and guided through water. Unlike Watsu, which often remains above the surface, this experience may include underwater immersion, creating a powerful space to explore breath, surrender, trust, and the wisdom held beneath the surface.

As the body softens and the nervous system settles, participants may access deeper layers of sensation, emotion, memory, and subconscious awareness.

It is not about forcing a breakthrough. It is an invitation to surrender, trust, listen, and be held.

  • What is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic dance is a free-form movement practice where you are invited to move without choreography, performance, or needing to look a certain way. Guided by music and your own inner impulse, the dance becomes a space to express what is alive in the body.

It is a practice of movement, release, play, prayer, emotion, and embodied freedom.

  • The Two Combined

Together, water therapy and ecstatic dance create a bridge between the inner and outer worlds.

Water helps bring what has been buried to the surface.
Dance gives it a pathway to move.

    One invites surrender.
    The other invites expression.

    One helps you listen.
    The other helps you choose.

This combination allows you to meet what arises with presence, move energy through the body, and integrate the experience through breath, movement, rhythm, and community.

Your Facilitators

  • Retreat Curator, Yoga Teacher + Founder of Līlā

Noonnahs created Breath Between Worlds from a personal experience with water therapy and dance in Mexico that stayed with her long after it ended.

In the water, she experienced deep surrender, trust, and clarity. Each time she went underwater, more was revealed: emotion, memory, discomfort, judgment, and truths her body had been speaking for a long time.

At first, she sat with what surfaced. She journaled. She listened. Then she made the choice to dance.

Through movement, she began to process, express, and transform what had risen.

This retreat was born from that sequence: water to reveal, dance to move, integration to choose.

As the founder of Līlā, Noonnahs creates spaces rooted in embodiment, expression, conscious connection, divine play, and sovereignty. Her intention is not to replicate her experience for others, but to create a powerful container where participants can meet themselves, listen inward, and choose how they participate in their own unfolding.
